|Junior Golf at Riverside has a strong connection to the late Eddie Hogan. Hogan was Head Golf Professional at Riverside from 1939-1968 and demonstrated an unmatched dedication to the Junior Golf Program. His memory lives on through the Hogan Cup, played each August at Riverside. The Hogan Cup attracts the most talented and competitive juniors from ten Western states, as well as British Columbia, to compete in Riverside’s unique amateur matches.|
The Junior Golf Program begins in mid-June and ends in early August. Juniors begin playing at Riverside at age seven and can take part in novice, 5 hole short, 5 hole long, 9 hole and 18 hole programs. As with all junior programs, many adult volunteers and passionate golf professionals help to make the program a success.
